As from DRPRO 2024.1, you can now add a GPS Pin to a project and include a live link to the project location on Google Maps on the transmittal itself. Here are the easy steps to implement this new feature:

  • Open the Project Entry Form
  • Open Google Maps on https://google.com/maps
  • Right-click your mouse at the centre of your project location
  • Left-click on the coordinates as shown in the image below
  • Paste the coordinates into the GPS Coords field in the Project Entry Form
  • Also specify a Zoom Level by moving the slider horizontally
  • The Zoom Level specified will dictate the initial Zoom on Google Maps
  • Click on the Red Pin Test button to verify
  • Adjust the Zoom level if required and test again
  • Click Save when you're happy with the results
  • Click on the Red Pin on the main Project List to display it on Google Maps
  • Rinse and repeat for each project on your list!
